Dr. Antonella Venezia is a post-graduate student at Federico II University of Naples, School of Food Science, and holds a research grant at the Department of Clinical and Experimental Medicine.
She graduated in Biological Sciences in 1999. Her main interests are the study of dietary, biochemical and genetic factors in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Her present research activity focuses on the analysis of anthropometric and biochemical variables as well as dietary habits of the Olivetti Heart Study population. Dr. Venezia was also involved in other collaborative international studies such as the Wandsworth Heart and Stroke Study and the IMMIDIET project (EC Fifth Framework Programme, QLK1-2000-100).
Dr. Venezia is co- author of about 20 scientific publications on peer reviewed journals.
